I am saddened as I type this.... word has reached me this morning that one of our own crafters, a wonderful, caring, giving, compassionate, creative lady (LynnK1970 on Youtube) has been murdered along with her 18 year daughter and pets. 

I can not explain the circumstances - I was told by another Youtuber - and she had this web address:   Mylifeofcrime.wordpress.com     I also searched for North Bend, WA News and found the same info. 

Lynn posted videos all the time on YT and was so loving and caring and just sooo nice.  I can not believe something like this happened to her and her daughter (and pets).  Her husband shot them and set fire to their home.  He is now on the run.

I will keep them all in my prayers - I know one thing:  The angels are making pretty flowers and crafting up a storm now... Lynn my friend... I will miss you.

Tonight after meeting Scrubby for dinner - we were in 2 vehicles -afterwards, he took the 2 boys shopping and let me come home alone.  We need a new gas grill this year, think that is what he was looking for. 

They came home 2 hrs later and he handed me a bag, said "Happy Easter".

I opened the bag and inside was my Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper.  I have been wanting one and haven't wanted to spend the money. (been using a 10 yr old Creative Memories Corner Rounder).

Now all my projects will be soft rounded corners. 
WAHOOO I love him.....  :o)

Good afternoon - here is a card I made for a swap I am in that is called: Stiches.  A card with some kind of stitching on it - either the paper, a stamp, actual sewing, with a pen, just something with stitches. 

I used a background paper that had a couple different types of stitching, and stamped with stamped resist the flower.  Added 3 buttons and a jute bow.

Saturday evening... no crafting today :o( but did get to go see The Lorax. Very cute movie.

Good afternoon everyone.... sunny here in Indiana, but not warm.  I am on a group on Yahoo that is a card swap group and I sent out 5 swap cards today.  I have 2 more to go to be done for March. 

I hope to be crafting this weekend - getting my bonus son for the weekend, so he and Dad will be busy doing "boy stuff"...

Here is a card I made using the IRIS FOLDING technique.  Looks elegant and is really simple to do.  I actually used wallpaper for the dress. (Tip: would be a lot easier to use a thinner paper, wallpaper was just too think overall).
